Ridley Lee Brown, 85 of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 2:45 am Thursday, November 24, 2016 in Mason Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw. On May 26, 1931, Ridley was born in Baxter, Tennessee to Ridley L. and Armentia (Ritenbury) Brown Sr. and step mother Osca Davis. He was united in marriage to Jaunita Campbell on July 1, 1950 in Warsaw, Indiana. In 1949, Ridley came to the Warsaw area. Ridley retired from Huffer Foundry, Warsaw and was a member at God’s Highway to Heaven, Warsaw. Ridley is survived by his two sons Bob (and spouse Tanya) Brown, Warsaw, John (and spouse Rita) Brown, Warsaw, his sister Marie (and spouse Opris) Flatt, Baxter, Tennessee; 11 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by two sons, Jerry and Larry Brown, five sisters Mamie Whitaker, Alice Whitaker, Ivy McBroom, Vergie Robinson, Eva Jackson and a great grandson Griffin Douglas. A funeral service will be at 11:00 am Monday, November 28, 2016 at God’s Highway to Heaven Church, Warsaw with Reverend Bob Brown and Reverend Don Chadwick officiating. Burial will be in Center Cemetery, Silver Lake. Visitation hours will be held from 3:00-8:00 pm Sunday, November 27, 2016 at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to God’s Highway to Heaven Church Food Pantry, 555 Wilber Street, Warsaw, IN 46580.
