Rick Shriver, age 72, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 1:05 p.m. in his residence. Rick was born on July 08, 1947 in Warsaw, Indiana to Charles “Butch” and Frances (Heckman) Shriver. He lived his lifetime as a resident of Kosciusko County. Rick proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserve for six years. He then worked for Nipsco as a pipe mechanic and retired after 38 years of service. He was an Eagle Scout, and club member of the Elks, American Legion Post #49, and the Moose Club of Warsaw. He attended Clunette United Methodist Church. Rick enjoyed golf, Karaoke and bowling as well as coaching his daughter’s softball team. He was a Civil War aficionado. Rick is survived by daughters, Kimberley Shriver, of Fishers, IN, Stacy (Jack) Palmer of Ft. Wayne, IN; companion, Susan Overton, of Warsaw, IN; sister, Debbie (Bob) Sharp of Nappanee, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Jodi Shriver. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at McHatton- Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 6, with Pastor Mike Beezley officiating at the funeral chapel. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion Post#49. Memorial donations may made to Clunette United Methodist Church 4227 W. 600 N. Warsaw, IN 46582
