Richard Plotner, 76, of 804 Southside Drive Warsaw, IN., died on 2/15/2009 at 8:36am at Kosciusko Community Hospital. He was born on October 28, 1932 in Warsaw, IN.. Richard was born to Wesley C. and Edna M. (Neer) Plotner. He was a lifetime Warsaw, IN. resident. On June 30, 1962, in Warsaw, IN., he was united in matrimony to Judith Elnora Myers. In 2000 he retired from DePuy, Inc. as a machinist. Richard was faithful member of the First Christian Church Warsaw, IN..He is survived by his loving family, including his Wife-Judith Plotner-Warsaw, IN.; 2 Daughters-Sonja ( spouse Dan) Decker-Warsaw, IN.; and Tersa (spouse Les) Ternet-Ft. Wayne, IN.. 4 Grandchildren-Gregory Tidwell-Warsaw, IN.; Acasha M. Ternet-Ft. Wayne, IN.; Erica a. Tidwell-Ft. Wayne, IN.; and William W.S. Ternet-Ft. Wayne, IN.. 2 Sisters-Marjorie (spouse Earl) Love-Warsaw, IN.; and Barbara Hedington-Warsaw, IN.. 1 Brother-Loren (spouse Anne) Plotner-Warsaw, IN..Ronnie Sams will officate the services. Services will be held at First Christian Church Warsaw, IN. on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at 12:00 PM. Calling hours will be 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery - Warsaw, IN.. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Warsaw is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made in Richard's memory to the First Christian Church or the Indiana Lion's Eyebank.
