Richard E. Dick Nabinger, age 76, of Leesburg and formerly of Pierceton, IN passed away Wednesday July 18, 2012 at 7:10 PM in his residence. He was born June 3, 1936 in Windsor, NY to Leland E. and Beulah (Beebe) Nabinger. He was self- employed and operated Mobile Farm Service specializing in mechanical repair of farm implements and agricultural related machinery. In particular, he restored collectible machinery serving clients from all over the United States. On April 3, 1976 he was united in marriage to Alice Walls, who survives. He was a Kosciusko County resident since 1965. He was an honorary member of the American Legion. Survivors include daughters Carol Bushaw of NY; Deana (spouse David) Phelps of TN; Barbara (spouse Mike) Venett of NY; Cathy (spouse William) Madden of NY; and Jenni (spouse Nick) Austin of NY; sons Jeffery (spouse Crystal) Nabinger of FL; Leland (spouse Penny) Nabinger of NY; Dusty (spouse Melissa) Nabinger of IN and Trent (spouse Nicole) Nabinger of IN; one brother and 8 sisters. In addition, he is survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded by a son in law Stephen Bushaw, one brother, one sister and his parents. A memorial service will be held in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel Warsaw, IN on Sunday July 22, 2012 at 1:00 PM. Calling will be one hour prior to the service. Chaplain Joe Stark will officiate the service. Interment services will be private.
