Raymond L. Burt

Raymond L. Burt, age 87 of Warsaw, Indiana passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019 in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. He was born on December 1, 1931 to Louis and Jessie (Hill) Burt in Mendon, Michigan. He was united in marriage on December 9, 1961 to Jeanette Morgan in Hastings, MI. Raymond retired as a forklift driver for Frozen Food Specialties -Archbold, OH. He resided at Dewart Lake in Syracuse, IN as well as in Warsaw, IN. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, driving his boat around the lake and his animals. He is survived by his wife Jeanette of Warsaw, IN, daughters; Annett Gutierrez of Michigan City, IN, Lanett Lemaster of Warsaw, IN, son; Robert Blankenship of the Philippine’s, daughters; Vickie (Blankenship) Reese, and Rebecca (Blankenship) Ratterree both of Wasilla, AK, brother; Fred (spouse Mary) Burt. In addition, Raymond is survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister. The Visitation hours will be on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. His Funeral Service will be also be on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Pastor Mike Beezley officiating.
