Ray R. Bell

Ray R. Bell, 80, of 5236 E. Washington Road, Pierceton, Indiana, died on 12/11/2010 at 12:37 PM at Miller's Merry Manor - Warsaw. He was born on June 8, 1930 in Rocky Branch, Kentucky. Ray was the son of Grover C. and Susie M. (Gregory) Bell. On August 14, 1992 he married Dorothy E. (Smith) Tackett in Warsaw. She preceded him in death on March 14, 2010. Ray lived in Kosciusko County most of his life. He was an employee of Dalton Foundries for 44 years. The joys of his life were fishing, Kentucky and his dog, Nicky. Surviving are his Daughter, Gloria (and spouse David) Letsch of Warsaw, Indiana.Three granddaughters: Amanda (and spouse Russell Webb; Melissa (and spouse Brian) Frederick and Jillian (and spouse Christopher) Shively.Six great grandchildren: Dylan and Hayley Campbell, Xander and Maddox Frederick; Lorelei and Lucy Shively and many beloved nieces and nephews.Three step children: Darwin W. (and spouse Rita) Busz Jr. of Warsaw, Indiana.Bryan W. Busz of Warsaw, Indiana and Timothy Tackett of Columbus, Indiana. He was, preceded in death, by his Parents, Three brothers: Jess Bell, Grover Bell Jr., and Kenneth Bell. Two sisters: Della (and spouse Charlie) Rednour and Evelyn (and spouse William) Shafer.Gary Boschain (of the First Christian Church Warsaw) will conduct the services. Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Warsaw on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 1:00 pm. Calling hours will be 2 hours prior to the services (11:00 am to 1:00 pm) on Wednesday, December 15, 2010. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery - Pierceton, IN. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Warsaw is in charge of arrangements. The family kindly request that the Memorial contribution be made to One's Choice.
