Randall Buren O'Dell

Randall Buren O'Dell, 62 of Pierceton, Indiana, passed away Monday, July 4, 2011 at 6:15 am in his residence. On November 27, 1948, Randall was born in Imboden, Arkansas to Sidney L. and Madge (Smith) O'Dell. He was a lifetime resident of Pierceton, Indiana. Randall was a graduate of Pierceton High School, class of 1967. He married Cheryl LaFollette, whom preceded him in death. Randall worked as a material handler for Donnelley and Sons for 25 years, retiring in 2004. He was a member of American Legion Post #258, Pierceton and also American Legion 40 8 #833. He served in the U.S. Army - RA QMC Germany as a SP4 during the Vietnam Conflict from 1967 - 1970. Randall is survived by a sister, Sylvia Deeter, Warsaw; 3 brothers, Brooks O'Dell, North Manchester; Bill O'Dell, Pierceton and Gary O'Dell, Pierceton and several nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles. Graveside services will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton on Saturday, June 9, 2011 at 10:00 am with military honors by American Legion Post #258 and the ARNG. There will be no visitation hours.
