Ralph S. Nibert, age 79, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 10:30 AM in Peabody Retirement Center, North Manchester. He was born January 22, 1939 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to Charles Lewis and Rose Anna (Aippersbach) Nibert. He was united in marriage to Rebecca Kae Scott on November 14, 1981 in Ashland, OH. He was employed by Ashland County Sheriff’s Department as Deputy Sheriff attaining the rank of Sergeant and retired in 1989 with 15 years of service. In addition, he was employed by Chore-Time Brock and Kosciusko Community Hospital. He was a member of the Milford First Brethren Church and the Buckeye State Sheriff’s Association. Survivors include his wife Rebecca Nibert of Warsaw, children Holly (Fred) Wright of Litchfield, OH, Karen Williams of Ashland, OH Joshua (Jessica) Nibert of Warsaw and Nathan (Stacey) Nibert of Milford. Furthermore, brothers Robert (Lois) Nibert of N. Canton, OH, William Ray Nibert of Youngstown, OH Harry (Linda) Nibert of Atlanta, GA, sister Stella (Greig) Olson of Portland OR, 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren survive. Services will be held at Milford First Brethren Church Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Lee Compson officiating. Interment services will be private. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted with arrangements.
