Ralph Minnix

Ralph Minnix, 66 of Pierceton, Indiana passed away at 5:00 am Sunday, September 13, 2015 in his residence. On July 31, 1949, he was born in Jackson, Kentucky to Weldon and Edith (Burton) Minnix. He was united in marriage to Pamela K. Yoder on May 8, 1980 in Clintwood, Virginia, who survives. Living most of his life in the Kosciusko County area, Ralph worked for Explorer Van, Warsaw as a driver for thirty years, retiring in 2013. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and family and going out for drives. He is survived by his wife of thirty five years, Pamela Minnix, Pierceton; four children, Charley Thomas, Palestine, Janice (and spouse Bill) Hyde, Pierceton, Jeremy (and spouse Angela) Thomas, North Manchester and Dawn (and spouse Will) Hyde, Sidney; one brother, Lowell (and spouse Audrey) Minnix, Pierceton; three sisters, Carolyn (and spouse Barry) Sapp, Sidney, Brenda Norris, Bosewell, Oklahoma and Freda (and spouse Kenny) Boggs, South Whitley; seven grandchildren, Brandon Breece, Milford, Cody Thomas, Milford, Austin Hyde, Pierceton, Braxton Hyde, Pierceton, Dakota Hyde, Sidney, Keea Hyde, Sidney, Brooklyn Thomas, North Manchester and two great grandchildren, Keegan and Korbin Breece, Milford. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Lloyd Minnix, Harold Minnix, Noah “Bo” Minnix and two sisters, Maddie Rhodes and Zula Faye Owens. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 19, 2015 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, PIERCETON with Pastor William Whitaker officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton. Visitation hours will be from 4:00 – 800 pm Friday, September 18, 2015 and also from 1:00 -2:00 pm Saturday, September 19, 2015 in the funeral chapel, PIERCETON.
