Rachel Leigh Adams

Rachel Leigh Adams, 47 of Silver Lake, Indiana passed away at 5:40 pm Thursday, January 24, 2013 in her residence. On May 7, 1965, she was born in Columbia City, Indiana to Billy R. and Linda (Whitaker) Adams. She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. Rachel was a wonderful mother and friend, who would do anything for anybody. She loved working on cars and she also loved animals, especially her dog “Otis”. She will be sorely missed by her son, family and friends. Rachel is survived by her son, Billy Slone, Silver Lake; grandson, Dustin Compton, Lagro; two sisters, Ival Blocher, Silver Lake and Billie Fogle, Orangeburg, South Carolina; companion, Darrell Randall Ousley, Silver Lake; four nieces, one nephew and eight great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Gladys Pelphry. Visitation hours will be from 4:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Burial will be at a later date. There are no services planned.
