Phyllis Jean (Hillery) Fribley, 86 of Warsaw, Indiana died on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 10:05 pm in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. The daughter of Victor Hillery and Lola B. (Castle) Hillery Alexander, she was born on June 19,1924 in Warsaw, Indiana. She married Wayne E. Fribley on June 20, 1942 in Warsaw. He preceded her in death on October 17, 2001. A lifelong resident of Warsaw, Phyllis was a homemaker then she and her husband were owners of the Warsaw Locker Plant and Fribley's Food Service in Warsaw. She also worked at DePuys and at Warsaw Foundry. Phyllis was a lifelong member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Warsaw. She also was a founding member of the Warsaw Chapter of Business Professional Women and was a member of Modern Home Extension Homemakers Club. Phyllis is survived by a daughter, Claudia (Fribley) McCarty, Westfield; three sons, Michael A. Fribley, Big Timber, Montana; Mark Paul Fribley, Warsaw; John A. Fribley, Goshen and an aunt, Betty Gordon, Rochester; four grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brother, David Hillery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 from 3:00 - 6:00 pm at the funeral chapel. Services will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 17, 2011 with Pastor Andy Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Warsaw. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 832 East Center Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580 or to donor's choice.
