Pearl Leatherman, age 96 of Warsaw, Indiana passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 4:46 PM in Kosciusko Community Hospital.  She was born on September 25, 1924 in Cherry Valley, PA. Pearl was united in marriage to Gene Leatherman on April 28, 1945 in Oil City, PA. During her life she studied at and graduated from Kankakee Jr. College. She was an accountant for Value Village Stores for 12 years. Pearl was formerly of Stuart, FL and Watseka, IL before settling in Warsaw in her later years.  During her time in Watseka, she worked as a church secretary and was actively involved in her church. She was a member of the Warsaw Evangelic Presbyterian Church.  She loved to paint and make pottery. Pearl was known as a completive cards player that enjoyed winning. She lived her life as a fighter, coming from the depression era generation.  At times known to have no filter, she was always frank with her thoughts.  She loved her family dearly and would do anything for them over all else. She is survived by her son; Mike (Donna) Leatherman of Warsaw, daughter; Leslea Wolford of Tempe, AZ, 5 grandchildren; Susan (Ryan) Wagner, Scott Schultz, Steven Schultz, Marisha (Marc) Leatherman-Sallis, Alaina Zink and fiancé Matt Massey, 11 great-grandchildren also survive.  Pearl was preceded in death by her husband Gene in 1996; one brother and one sister also precede. Interment will be held at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel is trusted with all arrangements.
