Paul Knight

Paul M. Knight, 71, passed away at home on Thursday, June 29, 2023.

He was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 10, 1952 to Paul and Shirley (Diehl) Knight. He graduated from West Carrollton High School with the class of 1970.

Paul met a sweet lady through mutual friends, and on June 17, 2000 in Warsaw, Indiana, Paul took Kandi K. Mort as his wife.

He worked for Flexaust in Warsaw as a machinist and then as a forklift operator at Tri-Lakes Container in Pierceton. Paul would retire in 2017.

The couple enjoyed trips to Daytona Beach in Florida and loved going out to eat. Paul was a huge Ohio Buckeyes Fan and Dallas Cowboys fan. He also liked to keep busy at home by working outside. Paul had a strong belief in the Lord.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Kandi of Pierceton, and his children: Holly (Brian) Vickery of Warsaw, Jason Knight of Warsaw and Jeremy Knight of Flushing, MI; his mother Shirley of Dayton, OH; grandchildren: Lily, Serenity, Kaiden, Alec, Madelyn and Mia; brothers, Chris (Linda Boring) Knight and Eric Knight, both of OH; and father-in-law, Don (Donna) Mort.

Paul was preceded in death by his father and sister, Diane.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 105 S. First Street, Pierceton.

Family burial in the Oakwood Cemetery will take place at a later date.
