Paul Braddock Sr.

Paul Braddock Sr., 81 0f Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 6:10 pm Saturday, February 23, 2013 peacefully in his sleep. Paul was born in Columbia City, Indiana on January 2, 1932 to John and Elsie (Salesman) Braddock. He married Marilyn Snyder in 1957 they enjoyed 56 years of marriage together. Paul worked for Nor Folk Southern for 38 years before he retired. After he retired, he worked at Red Horse Bait Shop where he fixed gas lanterns for people in the community and Jelly Stone Park where he mowed lawns and helped to care for the park. He enjoyed fishing, fixing gas lanterns, watching basketball and softball games, camping, spending time with friends and family and watching Chicago Bears football. Paul is survived by his wife, Marilyn Braddock, Warsaw; five children, Alton L. (and spouse Mindy) Chapman, Fort Wayne, Michael Braddock (and companion Betty Harris), Warsaw, Paul (and spouse Cynthia) Braddock Jr., Warsaw, Christina (and spouse Mark) Stump, Pierceton and Bruce (and spouse Dana) Braddock, Hickson, Tennessee. Paul is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Chaplain Bob Jarboe and Bruce Braddock officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Visitation will be from 11:00 – 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Kosciusko Homecare and Hospice, P.O. Box 1196 Warsaw, Indiana 46581-1196.
