Patricia "Pat" Likens

Patricia “Pat” Likens, age 90, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 3:52 am Monday, January 1, 2024 in Kosciusko Community Hospital. She was born March 17, 1933 in Warsaw, Indiana to Joseph and Maxine (Metzger) Johnson.

Patricia was united in marriage to Ed Likens in Bluefield W.Va. on August 15, 1959 who passed away on February 18, 2018. She was a 1951 graduate from Warsaw Community High School and graduated from Indiana Business School in South Bend. Pat was the co-owner of Likens Tax Service and Service Liquors and was a previous real estate agent selling properties in Warsaw. She retired in 2003.

She was an active member of her church and an extensive traveler. Pat was known to have a feisty personality and she was an avid fan of I.U. Basketball and Coach Bobby Knight. She enjoyed listening to Warsaw High School basketball games on the radio in the past. Pat’s social affiliations include the Warsaw Eastern Star, Lambda Chi Omega Sorority, and she was a member of Saint Anne’s Episcopal Church.

Survivors include her, son; William “Willie” (spouse Jolynn) Likens, daughters; Christy Singrey and Cathy Carter all of Warsaw, sisters; Sharon Smyth of Daytona, FL and Sonja (spouse Chris) Reid of Conroe, TX, a brother-in-law; Robert (spouse Dixie) Likens of North Webster, and Grandchildren include; Casey Carter of Warsaw, and Cade (spouse Emma) Carter of Indianapolis, Kelli (spouse Jonas) Haraldsson of Umea, Sweden and Connor Singrey of Manhattan, NY. Furthermore, a great grandson Fredrik Haraldsson, a great grandchild on the way and several nieces and nephews survive.

Visitation hours are scheduled from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday January 15, 2024 at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, Warsaw. Her Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 16, 2024 in the Church with Father Michael Basden officiating. Entombment will be in the St. Anne’s Columbarium.
