Patricia Marie Perkins

Patricia Marie Perkins, 72 of Ligonier, Indiana passed away at 8:24 am Wednesday, July 22, 2015 in her residence. On June 19, 1943, she was born in Churubusco, Indiana to Marvin and Florence (Deck) Rollins. She was united in marriage to Norman Lester Perkins on February 14, 1975 in Churubusco, whom preceded her in death on September 12, 1988. Patricia was a resident of Pierceton until 1989. She retired from Dana Weatherhead after twenty nine and a half years of service. She loved to sew, making outfits for her children and grandchildren. She is survived by four sons, David Perkins, Warsaw, William (and spouse Jane) Helblig, Warsaw, Randy (and spouse Heidi) Helblig, Ligonier and Todd (and spouse Debbie) Perkins, Warsaw; five daughters, Kay Perkins, Warsaw, Denise (and spouse Duck) Jackson, Warsaw, Patti Litherland and her companion George Cox Jr., Sturgis, Michigan, Lauretta Helblig, Fort Wayne and Bobbie Jo Perkins, Warsaw; two brothers, Clyde Rollins, Churubusco and Edwin Rollins, Warsaw; thirty - three grandchildren and thirty - four great grandchildren. Patricia was also preceded in death by two sons, James W. Perkins and Norman E. Perkins; her granddaughter, Aurora Shoemaker and nine brothers and sisters. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, July 27, 2015 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton. Visitation hours will be from 2:00 – 8:00 pm Sunday, July 26, 2015 in the Pierceton funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to United Cerebral Palsy Association of Greater Indiana, 107 North Pennsylvania Street #804, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204.
