Oliver Glen England, age 82, of Claypool, Indiana, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 7:40 PM in Paddock Springs of Warsaw. Oliver was born on March 22, 1937 in Floyd Co, KY to Jacob and Georgia (Whitaker) England. He was married to Carollyn Weimer on April 18, 1958 in Noblesville, IN. Oliver lived his lifetime as a resident in Claypool since 1938. In 1959, Oliver received a BA degree at North Manchester College and continued to further his education, receiving a MA degree at Ball State University in Education. He worked as an elementary teacher for Beaver Dan Elementary and then became the Principal for Beaver Dam Middle School. He continued with his career in teaching at Burket Elementary. In addition, he served as the Transportation and School Lunch Officer. Oliver was a member of the Koscuisko Retired Teachers Assn, Indiana State Teachers Assn, Indiana Association of School Principals and a member of the Warsaw Community Church. Oliver is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carollyn Weimer England of Claypool, sons; Kyle England and Brian England both of Indianapolis, sisters; Evelyn (Jim) Falkiner of Warsaw, 2 grandchildren; Jacob England of Denver, CO and Philip England of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his brother; Eugene England in 2017. His Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Pastors Jamy Gregory and Jeff Pfeifer will be officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral chapel prior to the service. Interment Services will be Private.
