Norma M. Axline

Norma M. Axline, age 90, of North Webster, Indiana, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020 at 10:35 AM in Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester, Indiana. Norma was born February 14, 1930 in Thompsonville, Michigan to Walter and Bertha (Gonder) Landis. She was united in marriage to LeRoy Axline on June 7, 1947 in Thompsonville, Michigan who passed away January 8, 2015. Norma worked for Mitchell Corp. in Michigan in the sewing department. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Pierceton. She was a very talented at quilt making and crochet. During her life she raised and gave a loving home to 10 foster children as well as her biological children. She is survived by 2 sons, Loyd (Linda) Axline, South Lyons, MI ,Roy (Sharon) Axline, Goshen, IN; 2 daughters, Diane Murray, Mason, MI, Theresa (Dan) Layman, North Liberty, IN; 2 brothers, Ervin Landis, AZ, Walter Landis, MI; 4 sisters, Bernice Swisher, MI, Linda (Bob) Brown, MI, Judy Parker, MI, Barbara Pracher, MI. In addition, she is survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, LeRoy Axline, brother, Warren Gonder, daughter, Virginia Axline and a half-sister, Jenny Landis. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw have been entrusted with arrangements.
