Norma Belle Creighton

Norma Belle Creighton, age 92 of Warsaw, Indiana died on August 15, 2012 at 8:40 am in Grace Village Health Care, Winona Lake, Indiana. She was born June 23, 1920 in Saskatchewan, Canada to James R. and Daisy M. (Darlison) Kintzel. She married Kermit W. Creighton on December 2, 1939; he died January 2, 1997. She lived most of her adult life in Atwood, Indiana. She graduated from Atwood High School in 1939. Norma was a Postmaster for 28 years in Atwood. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Atwood. She is survived by a daughter, Beverly A. Leiter of Warsaw; 2 sons Steven L. (and Sue) Creighton of Warsaw and Michael W. (and spouse Sonja) Creighton of Brunswick, Georgia; 2 sisters, Mavis Michalski of Winona Lake, Indiana and Sandra Dickerson of Syracuse, Indiana; 8 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, 2 brothers, and 1 son in law. A funeral services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Pastor Jerry Thomas will officiate the service.Visitation will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, Indiana on Friday, August 17, 2012 form 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
