Nondas Lynn Joyner, 89, of Warsaw, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025.
Born on March 7, 1936, to Clarence B. and Amy (Goshert) Heitman, Nondas's life was a testament to family values and unwavering generosity.
She was a graduate of Warsaw High School in 1954 and from there continued her education and graduated from the International Business School of Fort Wayne. Nondas joined the workforce as the private secretary for the Division Manager at NIPSCO gas company for four years.
Nondas married the love of her life, Thomas Joyner, in 1958, and together they created a warm home filled with joy. A devoted wife and mother, Nondas dedicated herself primarily to her family. She embraced her role as a loving homemaker, pouring her heart into every family meal and celebration.
Her talents extended beyond the household. She volunteered for many organizations around the community. Nondas was a proud lifetime member of the Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Warsaw, where she served faithfully.
Nondas cherished her time spent on the golf courses of Rosella Ford and Tippecanoe Country Club, where she built lasting friendships and created fond memories. While she excelled in many areas, her proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly her family.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas Joyner, her son Brad (Jacqui) Joyner of Leesburg, and her daughter Diane (Dr. Chris) Doran of Winona Lake, cherished grandchildren; Katherine (Ian) Bagley, Clarke Joyner, Caroline Joyner, Keaton Joyner, Mattie (Kyle) Wettschurack, and three great-grandchildren, who will forever carry the warmth of her love in their hearts.
Though she is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Nondas's spirit and legacy will live on through those she held dear.
A visitation will be held in her honor on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels in Warsaw, IN. Service will begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor Doug Lemon officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery Warsaw, Indiana.
