Nicoletta “Nikki” E. Deck, 77, Warsaw, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 23, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.
Nikki was born in Summitville, Indiana to her loving parents Vincent and Emily (Pierson) McGlynn on May 29, 1948. Nikki was the youngest of 7 siblings, who have preceded her in death. She found her love for the Lord growing up in the Pentecostal faith in Fairmount, Indiana.
Upon moving to Warsaw, she was a devout member of Touch of Life Church. She worked for McDonald’s, Hardee’s, Donna Rae’s cleaning service here in Warsaw as well as Murphy’s Hospital as a nurse in any department needed for many years. Anything asked of her, she would kindly and graciously do. She enjoyed her jobs very much and she never knew a stranger.
She met her loving husband, Ronald Deck, and they married on August 3, 1984. They shared many blessings and memories, for a cherished 41 years.
Nikki was a wonderful homemaker and flourished in raising her children. She always stood by the word of God, always showing compassion, encouragement, and her faith to her family and friends. Nikki also had a love for music, “anything you can dance too”, she would say. Some of her favorites were of course Christian groups, along with Fleetwood Mac, Michael Jackson, and countless others. She enjoyed numerous hours binge watching movies. She also loved just driving around seeing God’s beautiful creations.
Nikki is survived by her husband, Ronald Deck, and her children; Emily (Ben) Long of Tippecanoe, Indiana, Vince Glaser of Warsaw, Toby (Jennifer) Deck of Dayton, Ohio, and Eric Deck of Bryan, Ohio. She also was blessed with several grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her 6 siblings.
May her love of God and family bring comfort to those who have known Nikki.
