Nancy L. Beer

Nancy L. Beer, 73 of Leesburg, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 3:53 a.m. at Parkview North, Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born on November 20, 1940 to Gerald and Jean (Hall) McHatton in Peru, Indiana. She was united in marriage to Theodore A. Beer on April 9, 1961 in Warsaw, Indiana. She has been a Kosciusko County resident since 1992. She was a co-owner of eight convenience stores in northern Indiana and a homemaker. She was a member of the North Webster United Methodist Church, the North Webster American Legion Post # 253 auxiliary and Tippecanoe Lake Country Club. Nancy is survived by her husband, Theodore “Ted” Beer of Leesburg, Indiana; one son, Jason (and spouse Kristine) Beer of Sea Grove Beach, Florida; two sisters, Judy (and spouse Don) Wray of Warsaw, Indiana and Barbara (and spouse John) Knipp of Fort Wayne, Indiana; two grandchildren, Alex and Caroline Beer of Sea Grove Beach, Florida. She is preceded by her parents. Calling hours will be on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with a one hour calling prior to the service. The funeral service will be at the North Webster United Methodist Church, North Webster, Indiana with pastor David Smitley officiating.
