Murl H. Webster, age 77, of Warsaw, Indiana died at home January 8, 2012. He was born August 25, 1934 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Murl Ranney and Dorothy Eleanor (Rettenmier) Webster. He graduated from Birmingham (Michigan) High School in 1952. He graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering in 1958 and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering in 1959. He was a member of Chi Epsilon Civil Engineering Honor Fraternity as well as a student member of the American Society of Civil Engineering. After graduation, he began his Civil engineering career in Birmingham, Michigan. He worked in both civil engineering and construction throughout Michigan, New York, and the U.S. Virgin Islands for over 45 years. Mr. Webster is survived by his wife LaVerna (Spilak) Webster; daughter Rebecca Hayes and husband Nicholas; grandchildren Alexander and Madison Hayes; brother Lee N. Webster and wife Sandra; nephew Patrick and a niece Amy; cousin Mrs. James Eubank (Kathleen); a stepson Mark Skibowski and his wife Teri; granddaughters Amanda and Brittany Skibowski; stepdaughter Kimberley Lord; grandchildren Erin, Paul, Brandon and great-grandson Gavin; stepdaughter Jennifer Voss and husband Christopher; grandchildren Katrina and Justin Jadzinski; father-in-law Fred Spilak. Private memorial service was held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel in Warsaw, Indiana, followed by cremation. Sister Nora Frost (Goshen Center for Cancer Care) conducted the service.
