Milo 'Gene' Zartman

Milo “Gene” Zartman, 77, Leesburg, IN passed away Thursday July 30, 2015 at 11:17 a.m. at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. He was born on March 2, 1938 to Calvin and Hazel (Fishburn) Zartman in Argos, IN. Gene was united in marriage to Sandra Smith in October 24, 1956 in Lawrenceburg, IN. He has been a Leesburg resident for 53 years. He was a truck driver for 30 years, self-employed as a farmer, and equipment operator for Gawthrop Excavating. He was a member of Warsaw Church of God and a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. Gene is survived by his wife, Sandra Zartman of Leesburg; daughter Kim Zartman of Warsaw; daughter-in-law, Rose Zartman; granddaughter, Alaina Zink; and two sisters, Loeta (and spouse Curt) Sundstrom of Belle Fourche, SD and Sally Bullock of Hollywood, FL. He is preceded in death by one son, Tony Zartman, May 16, 2010. Visitation will be on Monday August 3, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Warsaw Church of God. Funeral Service will be on Tuesday August 4, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Warsaw Church of God, with Pastor Tim Kumfer officiating. Burial will be in Leesburg Cemetery.
