Mickey "The Mick" Joe Wolfe

Mickey Joe Wolfe, 77, of Cromell, passed away Friday, December 5, 2025 at his residence surrounded by family.

Mickey was the son of Herman and Georgia (Linn) Wolfe born in Waraw, Indiana on August 24, 1948. After graduating from Colombia City high school, “The Mick” as he was called, was drafted into the Army and sent to Vietnam where he was a supply driver during the war. He also was a member of the American Legion Post # 253 North Webster, Indiana.

Mickey was a truck driver and he named his truck “Elizabeth”. He became the Owner of Lazer Express Company. He then became co-owner at North Webster Septic Tank Company. Mickey was a very accomplished individual and had a strong work ethic which he passed on to his children. He also loved anything to do with mechanics. He loved time spent in the garage working on his lawnmower or any other thing that might have needed fixing.

Mickey is survived by daughters; Kristi (Mathew) Hillebrand of Pheonix, AZ and Jennifer C. Wolfe of Syracuse, IN, son; “Jim” Jamie Wolfe of Cromwell, IN, one sister; Dena McKown of Columbia City, IN, grandchildren; Tyler Wolfe, Valerie Moser, Ashley Wolfe, Kayson Dilley, Justin Hillebrand, Hayden Hillebrand, many cousins, his favorite uncle Clifford, many great grandchildren, and longtime companion, Cathy E. Walley.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Judy (Hackler) Wolfe.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
