Maxine Harris

Maxine Harris, 93, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Paddock Springs Senior Living, Warsaw. Born on January 21, 1928, in College Corner, Ohio, Maxine was the daughter of William and Grace (Gilmore) Earhart. She was united in marriage to Philip Judge Harris on July 30, 1950, in Liberty, Indiana. She enjoyed being a homemaker taking care of her family. Maxine enjoyed traveling, playing Bridge, playing golf, and was affiliated with Tri Kappa and Mothers Study Club. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Warsaw. Maxine is survived by her husband of Philip Harris, Warsaw; daughter, Diane (Thomas) Kail, Noblesville, son, Stephen P. (Carla) Harris, Warsaw; grandchildren, Kris (Angie) Kail, Scott (Jennifer) Kail, Jeff (Cassi) Kail and Kara Harris; great grandchildren, Kameron, Annabelle, Carson, Avery, Betsy, and Houston. She was preceded in passing by brother Keith Earhart and sister Carmen Miles. A private graveside service will be conducted at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. McHatton-Sadler funeral chapel is entrusted with arrangements for the family. In Lieu of flowers a charity can be made to donors’ choice.
