WARSAW- Maryann R. Meinert, 61, peacefully passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Warsaw.
She was born in Warsaw, Indiana on October 13, 1961 to Clarence F. and Evelyn (Nicklas) Meinert. She graduated from Cardinal Learning Center in Warsaw with the class of 1982.
Maryann was a happy person who loved her sisters, family and close friends very much. She loved music, especially the 60s and 70s, and dancing. She enjoyed watching tv and her favorite shows. She made her birthday a huge party every year and she enjoyed Christmas with just as much excitement. Maryann also liked to decorate the house for the seasons and was a Snoopy and Peanuts fan. Maryann attended St. Francis Xavier and Sacred Heart Catholic Churches.
She is missed dearly by her sisters: Caryl (John) Nolan of Riverview, FL, Patricia (Dave VanDeVoort) Meinert of Naperville, IL, Kathy (Hank) West of Shelbyville, IN, Jayne (Jack) Brunetto of Warsaw and Judy Meinert of Warsaw; 7 nieces and nephews; 9 great-nieces and nephews; and special friends and Godparents, Bob and Mary Martin.
Maryann was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence “Brick” and Evelyn Meinert and her brother, Michael.
Many thanks to the nurses and staff at Miller’s Merry Manor for their loving care of Maryann for nearly 6 years.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 11-12:00 p.m. noon at Mchatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. Funeral services will immediately follow at noon with Fr. Daniel Chukwuleta officiating.
Burial will be at a later date, with her brother Michael, in the Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
