Mary Louise (Suelzer) Lowe passed away in the comfort of her home in Warsaw, Indiana, on March 2, 2019. Wife of the late Phil O. Lowe. She is survived by 11 children, Michael (Connie) Lowe, John (Katy) Lowe, Anita (Dennis) Fitzgerald, James (Jackie) Lowe, Marty (Owen) Altman, Susan (Paul) Scheuer, Sharon (late Robert) Semmer, Thomas (Amy) Lowe, Mary Pat Wallen, Phil (Denise) Lowe, Joseph Lowe. Preceded in death by her son, Richard Lowe. Matriarch of 28 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She is one of five daughters of John Suelzer and Marie (Berghoff) Suelzer of Fort Wayne, Indiana, survived by her sister Judy Hipskind. She graduated from Mount Mary College, in Milwaukee, and taught school for a brief period in Fort Wayne. On June 12, 1948, she married Phil Lowe at St. Peter’s Cathedral, Fort Wayne Indiana. Her life was devoted to creating a warm loving home for her husband and children. She always extended her love and care to friends, neighbors, and members of her beloved Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Warsaw. She was a founding member of Right to Life of North Central Indiana. Honored as Chamber of Commerce Woman of the Year in 2004. She was involved in many charities, organizations, and clubs. Her legacy of giving will live on through the Mary Louise Lowe Charitable Trust established in 2005 with the Kosciusko Community Foundation. Her children will cherish the memories of the wonderful big pots of soup that were always on the stove as she ran the commercial-sized operation out of her kitchen. Her table was open to all and it was not uncommon for total strangers to share a meal with the family. Her children are also grateful for her having instilled in them the values of hard work and the importance of family and prayer. Her life was centered around babies, nature, and fun adventures. Her steadfast devotion to Christ was how she modeled her life. Visitation hours are scheduled from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 7, 2019 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A Rosary Service will be celebrated at 7:30 PM on Thursday with family and friends. Her Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated by Father Jonathan Norton, will be held Friday, March 8, 2019 at 11:00 AM in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. As requested by the family, preferred memorials may be made to: Right to Life of North Central Indiana, P.O.
