Mary Lou Steffe

Mary Lou Steffe, age 85, of Warsaw, Indiana went to be with the Lord Sunday, September 1, 2013 at 2:00 PM in Miller’s Merry Manor of Warsaw. She was born August 15, 1928 in Warsaw, IN to John and Susie (Brandenburg) Kindle. A lifetime Kosciusko County, IN resident she graduated from Warsaw High School in 1946. She was united in marriage to John Edwin Steffe in Atwood, IN on August 15, 1948 who preceded her on February 22, 2006. She was a homemaker and employed by the Times Union Newspaper in the Circulation Department. She was a longtime member of Walnut Creek United Methodist Church of Warsaw. Survivors include sons Greg (spouse Jackie) Steffe and Kevin (spouse Teresa) Steffe both of Warsaw, IN; grandchildren Kyle (spouse Caitlin) Steffe of Warsaw, IN, Kacee Steffe of Van Wert, OH, Lauryn Steffe of Indianapolis, IN, Conner Steffe of Warsaw, IN; brothers Gene (Spouse Joan) Kindle of Danbury, WI, Ray (spouse Nancy) Kindle of Warsaw, IN and a sister Kay Lingofelter of Warsaw, IN. A brother Floyd Kindle preceded her. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Calling hours are scheduled for 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday at the Funeral Chapel. Pastor Steve Ailes will officiate the services. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
