Mary L. White, 70 of Silver Lake passed away on Monday November26, 2018 at 8. at 8:48 p.m. in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born on December 31, 1947 in Marian, IN to Wayne and Audrey (Hull) Lashure. Mary was united in marriage to James E. White July 1, 1965 in Alexandria, IN. She was employed V.F.W. Post #1126 of Warsaw as Cook and Waitress and also the Moose Family Center Lodge 1423, Warsaw as a volunteer Cook. She was an Alexandria High School graduate, Class of 1965. Her memberships include Warsaw Moose Lodge 1423 and she was a lifetime member of V.F.W. Post #1126. Mary dearly loved her grandchildren and never missed any of their events. In addition, she loved to help others, participating in many fundraisers and benefits in her community. Survivors include her husband James E. White of Silver Lake, a son Marty (Julie) White of Mentone, daughters Teresa Lambert of Silver Lake and Jessica (Dan) Thompson of Mentone, grandsons Michael (Priscilla) Lewis, Travis (Brittany) Lewis, Ty Wayne Brown and Andrew Thompson, a granddaughter Kaytlin Thompson and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents, one brother, two sisters and her daughter Michelle Blankenship. **** A Celebration of Mary’s Life will be held on Saturday January 19, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Moose Family Center Lodge 1423, 1815 West Lake Street, Warsaw**** McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted with the arrangements.
