Mary E. Leedy

Mary E. Leedy age 87, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday December 20th, 2011 at 11:00 am at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. On August 9th 1924 Mary was born to Manuel and Lillie Mae (Mann) Spradlin in Bonanza, KY. She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County since 1974 residing in Warsaw, Claypool and Etna Green. Mary enjoyed being a homemaker and living on the farm. Mary was a member of the Gospel Hill Pentecostal Church of God, Silver Lake where she was a long term Sunday school teacher of the teens. Mary was also affiliated with the Warsaw Family Worship Center in Warsaw.Mary is survived by her husband Ernest, and a daughter, Ernestine Shepherd of Claypool; a son Kelly Leedy of Etna Green; son-in- law, Monroe “Buddy” Shepherd of Claypool; grandchildren Teresa (Dennis) Crews of Silver Lake; Darrell (Cora) Ellis of Anderson, IN. and Donna (John) Swanson of Columbus, IN.Mary was preceded in death by her Mother and Father, brother Jim Spradlin and sisters Kathryn Griffith and Bea McIntosh. Funeral services for Mary will be held at Tuesday December 27th , 2011 at 1:00pm at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Visitation will be on Monday December 26th from 4:00pm to 8:00 pm and one hour prior to the funeral service at the Funeral Chapel Warsaw. Pastor William Whitaker will be officiating the service. Burial will be at the Harrison Center Cemetery. Family has asked for memorials to be made out to the Kosciusko County Right to Life.
