Mary Bette Clevenger

Mary Bette Clevenger, 89 of Winona Lake, Indiana, passed away at 8:09 pm, Monday, April 16, 2012 in Grace Village Healthcare Center. On July 18, 1922, she was born in Rochester, Indiana to Elzie and Myra (Moon) Blackburn. Mary married Homer M. Clevenger in Wabash, Indiana. He preceded her in death in 1991. Living most of her lifetime in the Wabash area, Mary moved to Warsaw in 1990. She was a homemaker and was a member of First Christian Church, Warsaw. She was also a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Wabash, the Wabash Womens’ Legion Auxillary, and the Wabash Moose Lodge. She is survived by her sons; Larry (and spouse Jeanne) Clevenger, Warsaw; Mike (and spouse Barb) Clevenger, Tarrytown, NY. One brother; Bob Blackburn, Wabash. Nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mary was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one sister, and one grandchild. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, April 19, 2012 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with Pastor Gary Boschain officiating. Burial will be at The Falls Cemetery, Wabash, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral chapel.
