Marvallene "Marv" Lapp

Marvallene Lapp, 76, passed away Thursday October 8, 2026 at her residence, Warsaw, Indiana.

She was born on December 25, 1949 on Christmas Day in Paintsville, Kentucky to Earl and Mary (Blair) Baldridge. She graduated from Prestonsburg High School with the class of 1968. 

Marv married J. Richard Lapp on June 1, 1979 in Warsaw. The couple would make the Warsaw area their home and share 33 years of love, laughter and memories before his passing in 2012.

She enjoyed traveling, cooking, gardening, sewing and was especially fond of her animals, Buddy and Jake, from state farm. She loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them. She was of the Christian faith. Marv was a wonderful grandma and great cheerleader for her grandkids and family sporting events.

She is survived by her daughter: Kristi Sanchez, Warsaw, grandchildren; Aisha (Brody) Cooper, Mentone, and Drew (Devin) Evans, great grandchildren; Aaron and Coraline Cooper, sister; Linda (Dave)Bowling, Kentucky, brother; Ralph Baldridge, Kentucky and many nieces and nephews.

Marv was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 2 brothers, Earl Baldridge Jr. and Billy Wayne Baldridge.

Visitation will be held on Thursday October 15, 2026 from 3:00-7:00 p.m.at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. Funeral services will take place at the funeral chapel on Friday October 16, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. with Chaplain Janell Warkentin officiating. A burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

The family would like to give special thanks to her caregivers Faith, Jessica, Ramona, Teddy, Raven and Janell along with several others which are too many to name.
