Martha 'Marty' Cox

Martha “Marty” Cox, 84 of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 2:35 pm Sunday, September 29, 2013 in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Om March 5, 1929, she was born in Warsaw to Albert and Edna (Phillips) Hodges. She married Royce Cox on January 6, 1951 in Warsaw, who survives. Marty retired from A.M. Hodges Ready Mix and also was co-owner of Village Peddler Clothing and Fun Center Yamaha, both of Warsaw, Indiana. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Warsaw and also attended Celebrations United Methodist Church, Winona Lake. She is survived by her husband of sixty two years, Royce Cox, Warsaw; her son, Kim (and spouse Cindi) Cox, Warsaw; two grandchildren, Cori Cox, North Webster and KC Cox, Warsaw and three great grandchildren, Sean, Shane and Sam. A funeral service will be at 10:00 am Thursday, October 3, 2013 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Cindy Gackenheimer officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. Visitation hours will be from 4:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the funeral chapel.
