Martha Elizabeth Buell

Martha Elizabeth Buell, age 98, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 2:42 PM in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw.  She was born on March 4, 1922 in Warsaw, Indiana to Leverette and Flora (Thomas) Peterson.   She was a lifetime resident of Warsaw.  On May 11, 1940 she was united in marriage to George R. Buell in Goshen, Indiana.  During her life she worked for Thornburg Drugs, Crownover Jewelry and the Warsaw Party Shop.  She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Warsaw Post #49 and had the distinct honor to serve as the former 1st Past President. She enjoyed card games such as Bridge, Euchre, and Bingo. Martha loved her family dearly. Surviving are children; Stephen Buell of Kirkwood, PA, Beverly Eaton of Ft. Wayne, Tim (Cheryl) Buell of Claypool, IN, Ethan (Carol) Buell of Versailles, KY, 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren also survive.   Martha was preceded in death by her husband, brother, granddaughter, and step-grandson. Interment will be private and held at a later date.
