Martha B. Girard

Martha B. Girard, age 91, of Grace Village, Winona Lake, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 1:50 PM in Winona Lake. She was born August 21, 1927 in Fort Wayne, to Forrest and Naomi (Foote) Beck. A Warsaw area resident since 1957, she was united in marriage to James E. Girard on July 2, 1949 in Albion, IN. She was formerly employed by Warsaw Community Schools in the Administrative Office, Little Crow Milling and as Med Tech for local Physicians offices. In addition, Martha was a member of Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her sons Richard (spouse Sharon) Girard of Fort Wayne, Robert (spouse Cathy) Girard of Elkhart, a sister Nancy Cole of Fort Wayne, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband James on March 7, 2004. Calling hours are scheduled from 1:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday, November 4, 2018 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Funeral Chapel with Pastor Andrew Morton. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Albion, IN.
