Mark S. Alexander

May 7, 1958 — Oct 1, 2026

Warsaw, IN

In his home with loving family by his side, Mark Alexander, 68, peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026 after fighting a good fight.

He was born on May 7, 1958 in Warsaw, Indiana but grew up in Claypool. Mark was the son of Howard and Marlene (Kinzie) Alexander. He graduated from Warsaw High School with the class of 1976.

Mark worked for Dalton Foundry for 40 loyal years before retiring at 65 as a maintenance supervisor

In Claypool on September 16, 1989, Mark took as his wife, Debra J. Sexton. The two would be blessed with 37 years of trails, memories and love. When the kids were younger, he taught them how to snow ski and water ski. His sons and he took boy only camping trips a lot, and they had fun on many family vacations. Deb and he very much enjoyed their trip to Las Vegas.

He was very much a DIY guy, but if you ask his boys, it was more of a project done at his own pace and he was the supervisor and you the laborer many times. He was stubborn, opinionated and a perfectionist about his projects, but did them with joy and satisfaction. Mark enjoyed learning through books and educational TV channels. He was big into music, and boy did he play it loud! He also played the guitar. Mark was the king of pranks, and not just ordinary pranks. He went above and beyond, lots of thought behind the prank, and just pure laughter in the end.

Mark is dearly missed his by wife, Deb, of Warsaw; his sons: Christopher (Celia) Alexander, Brian Alexander and Ryan Crippin, all of Warsaw; grandchildren: Stephanie (Sterling) Jackson, Cameron Harley, Andrew Saldana, Gavyn Christopher, and Annabella Nicole; great-grandchildren: Jesse Finn, Jade Elizabeth, Audry Rylie, June Beth, and two more on the way; and his sisters, Lynn Colburn, Joyce Alexander and Diane Puterbaugh.

He was welcomed into heaven by his grandson, Justin Powell, and his parents.

Per his wishes, cremation will take place and no formal services will be held.
