Marjorie Otter

Marjorie Otter (Johnson), age 77, of North Webster, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 2, 2020 at 6:41 PM in Canterbury Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Marjorie was born April 27, 1943 in South Bend, Indiana to Albert and Harriet (Cochran) Johnson. She was united in marriage to Charles Otter on February 21, 1970 in Rolling Prairie, Indiana. Marjorie worked for Sam’s Club in the Shipping and Receiving Department. She was an avid gardener, liked to fish as well as make quilts. More than anything she loved spending time with her family. Marjorie is survived by her son; Scott Reiter of Warsaw, daughter, Sue-Ellen Gest of Warsaw, step-children; Becky Adams of Missoula, MO, Melinda (Christopher) Cox of Tucson, AZ, brothers; Darrell (Sharon) Johnson of LaPorte, IN, Dennis (Marsha) Johnson of Richmond, VA,  sisters; Loretta Meyer of Lansing, MI, Ester Cart of Elkhart, IN, 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her son; Shawn Eric Reiter, both parents and one brother. Services and interment will be private.  McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel is entrusted with all arrangements. Due to current COVID-19 recommendations, masks are required.  The public is kindly requested to provide their own. Social distancing is strongly encouraged.
