Marilyn Cummings

Marilyn Cummings, 94, of Winona Lake, passed away peacefully the evening of Thursday May 7, 2026, at Grace Village Retirement Community.

Born on October 12, 1931, in Kosciusko County at the family home, she was the beloved daughter of Tony and Fredonna (Holderbaum) Baugher. She was a graduate of Atwood High School, Atwood, Indiana.

On December 30, 1950, she became the bride of Robert L. Cummings, and they would welcome three children. They shared 65 years of joyous memories, countless laughs, and a wonderful family until his passing in 2016.

Marilyn worked as a Secretary for Farm Bureau Insurance until her retirement in 1991.

She had a generous giving heart. She had charm and a great sense of humor. Most of all was the beauty of her spirit. She would light up any room with her grace.

Marilyn will remain in the hearts of her family, daughter; Debra (Scott) Clark, son; Mark Cummings, grandchildren; Seth (Crystal) Bradford, Melanie (Joshua) Shepherd, and Lyndsey Evans (Shawn Jacobs), great-grandchildren; Keeghan, Addison, Jailynn, Jarron, Jace, Marleigh, Jack, Brody and Gavin, and great great-grandchildren; Lucas and Calvin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, infant son Bobby, son-in-law Gary Geis, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Oakwood Cemetery, 421 N Maple Ave, Warsaw with Pastor Larry Burkhart officiating.
