Marilyn A. Sowers, 76, of Warsaw, Indiana, died on 4/2/2010 at 10:15 AM at Kosciusko Community Hospital. She was born on April 27, 1933 in Albion, Indiana. Marilyn was born to Clarence and Violet (Harlan) Scoby. She is formerly of South Whitley, Indiana and Warsaw, Indiana. On June 7, 1955, she married Gaylord G. Sowers (preceded 8-11-07). She was a homemaker and attended Chapel Services at Mason Health Care and Rehabilitation. She is survived by 1 daughter: Carloyn (Jay Hunt) Sowers - South Whitley, Indiana; 1 son: Carl (spouse Laura) Sowers - Warsaw, Indiana; 4 grandchildren: Brittany (spouse Nick) Denney - Silver Lake, Indiana; Elaine Hunt - South whitley, Indiana; Heather (fiance Mike Rhines) Sowers - Warsaw, Indiana; Branden Sowers - Warsaw, Indiana. Also survived by 3 great-grandchildren: Garrett Arthur - Warsaw, Indiana; Neville Denney - Silver Lake, Indiana; Addyson Rhines - Warsaw, Indiana. Also survived by 2 sisters: Jean Krantz - Warsaw, Indiana; Anita (spouse Eddie) Krebs - Warsaw, Indiana and 2 brothers: Jerry Anders and Alan (spouse Wanda) Anders both of Pierceton, Indiana. Services will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Pierceton on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 11:00 A.M.. Calling hours will be 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the funeral chapel. on Wednesday, April 7, 2010. Burial will be at South Whitley Cemetery, South Whitley, Indiana.
