Marie Jo (Mays) Brown, age 54, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away Sunday February 5, 2012at 5:24 AM in her residence. She was born June 14, 1957 in Lexington, KY., to John Milford Mays Jr. and Gladys (Webb) Smith. Marie was united in marriage to Ridley L. Brown in 2005 in Cookeville, TN. She spent her childhood years in Harrodsburg, KY., then moving to Kosciusko County. She was a member of Gods Highway to Heaven Church, Warsaw and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary of North Websters Post # 253. She was Social Worker in Floyd County, KY and a manager at Jenny Wiley State Park, KY. She was a homemaker after moving to Warsaw. Marie loved to collect antiques, reading end of the time prophecy books. She is survived by her husband Ridley L. Brown of Warsaw; Sister Mary Ellen Stacy of London, KY; Joyce (and spouse Bill) Chamberlain of Burgin, KY; Amanda Lynn (and spouse Alexander) Martinez of Burgin, KY; and Patricia Ann (and spouse James) Burns of Fort Wayne, IN.; Brothers Norman (and spouse Valerie) Mays of Georgetown, KY and John (and spouse Tina) Webb of London, KY; Step sons Pastor Bob (and spouse Tanya) Brown of Warsaw, IN and John (and spouse Rita) Brown of Warsaw, IN. 11 step grandchildren and 21 nieces and nephewsShe was preceded in death by her parents, grandmother Fannie Mays and a brother David Tuttle. The service will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 5:00 PM at Gods Highway to Heaven, Warsaw. Calling hours are scheduled for 3:00 to 5:00 PM Tuesday February 7, 2012 at the church.Pastor Bob Brown will officiate the service.McHatton-Sadler Funeral chapel, Warsaw is in charge of the arrangements.
