Margie L. Mccartney

Margie L. McCartney, age 84, of Warsaw, Indiana passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at 3:47 PM in Grace Village Health Care, Winona Lake. She was born July 3, 1933 in Warsaw to Earl and Mildred (Bennett) Latta. A lifetime area resident, and a 1953 Warsaw High School Graduate, she was united in marriage to Jerry McCartney on March 19, 1953. She was formerly employed by Sears and Roebuck and Owen’s Supermarkets of Warsaw. However, she was a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother who lovingly took care of her family. In addition, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Warsaw. She is survived by her husband Jerry, of 64 years, a son Jay (Spouse Renae) McCartney of Warsaw, grandchildren Heather (spouse Roger) Morrow, Pam Davis, Samantha McGinnis, Christie (spouse Zeb) Dotson, Kerra McCartney, Chris Warren, Jeremy McCartney and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her daughter Marcia Davis. Calling hours are scheduled on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM in McHatton-Sadler-Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mark Need officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
