Margaret Whitley

Margaret Whitley, 67, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, April 23, 2023.

Margaret was born July 19, 1955 in Warsaw, Indiana the daughter of (the late) Derwood and Delia Anna (Latta) Allen. On December 15, 1979 she was united in marriage to her companion for life, Eric Whitley.

She was a graduate of Warsaw Community High School and continued to receive a Bachelor Degree from Ball State University in 1977. She worked for Warsaw Community Schools for 31 years spending most of those years at Lincoln Elementary School.

Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her husband Eric Whitley of Warsaw; children: Amy (Dennis) Kinsey of Florida, Brian Whitley of Nevada, and Erica (Daryk) Whitley of Kentucky; sister Janet (Scott) Kammerer of Leesburg, brother Steven Allen of Warsaw; Aunt Joyce Latta of Warsaw; and her 5 cherished grandchildren; Bryce (Gerdyde) Kinsey, Payton Kinsey, Madyson Kinsey, Hannah (Ashley) Nipuen and Gabbriella Whitley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her sweet dogs Sophie and Jack.

A Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday April 29, 2023 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Ct. Warsaw.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 125 N. Harrison St. Warsaw with Father Jonathan Norton officiating. Interment is private.
