Margaret M. Tennant

Margaret M. Tennant, age 74, of Pierceton, IN passed away November 2, 2011 at 7:30 PM in Parkview-Whitley Hospital Columbia City, IN. She was born June 9, 1937 in Columbia City, IN to Alfred Wayne “Red” and Mildred (Drudge) Finton. She was a lifetime resident of Pierceton, IN and graduated from Pierceton High School in 1955. On October 13, 1955 she was united in marriage to Roy Tennant who preceded her on September 5, 1990. She was employed by Pletcher’s Grocery Store of Pierceton for 14 years and later was employed by Tenneco, Corp. of Ligonier where she retired in 2001. Surviving are a son Dale (spouse Kassie) Tennant of Leesburg; a daughter Brenda Miller of Pierceton, IN; a sister Ruth (Spouse Chuck) Christopher of Texas; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded by a son and 2 grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday November 8, 2011 at 11:00 am in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel Pierceton. Pastor Steve Mullin will officiate the services. Calling hours will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday November 7, 2011 at the Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery Pierceton, IN.
