Margaret E. (Meadows) Farmer, 90, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 at 4:00 a.m. at Lutheran Hospital Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born on September 9, 1931, in Buchanan County, Virginia, Margaret was the daughter of Henry and Alta (Hurley) Meadows. She was united in marriage to Charlie Farmer Sr. in Grundy, Virginia on December 24, 1948. Margaret enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with her family. She was a member of God’s Highway to Heaven Church, Warsaw. Margaret is survived by her children, Linda Taylor, Warsaw, Charlie “Buddy” (Janette) Farmer Jr, Silver Lake, Diane Farmer, Warsaw, Steven (Joyce) Farmer, Warsaw, Tony Farmer, Wabash, Rita (Harold) Wrenn, Warsaw, Alisa (Tommy) Roberts, Warsaw, Vera Zartman, Warsaw, Ernest (Becky) Farmer, Palestine, and Douglas (Tracy) Farmer, Warsaw. In addition, she is survived by 31 grandchildren, 82 great grandchildren and 59 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by 2 brothers, 6 sisters, 2 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and 1 great-great grandchild. A visitation is planned from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 11, 2021 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service in celebration of her life will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday October 12, 2021 in the McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Pastor Bob Brown will officiate the services. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery, Claypool. Masks are optional, and social distancing is encouraged. No food is permitted at this time.
