Malcolm H. Collins Jr.,  79, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 12:40 a.m. at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw, Indiana. Born on May 9, 1942, in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Malcolm was the son of Malcolm H. and Edith (Hall) Collins. He was united in marriage to Cora Compton on December 19, 1966, in Sidney, Indiana. He was a graduate of Prestonsburg High School and continued on to EMT Military Training in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. Malcolm formerly worked as a machine operator for R.R. Donnelly. He enjoyed listening to music, playing cards, going to yard sales, and spoiling his grandchildren.  Malcolm was  known to many as a jokester. He was of the church of Freewill Baptist Church Religion. Malcolm will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years: Cora Collins of Warsaw; children: Sheila Aguilar, Leona Griffith, Ralene Collins all of Warsaw; siblings: Bessie Collins of Prestonsburg, KY,  Okie Lee (Pam) Hall of Packerton, Curtis (Lou) Collins of Sellers Lake, Donald (Susie) Collins of Prestonsburg, KY, and Shirley Fay (Jimmy) Lewis of Prestonsburg, KY. In addition, he is survived by eight grandchildren: Joni Corina Aguilar, Hailey Nicole Griffith, Lillian Marissa Campos, James Tristan Griffith, Andrew A. Campos, Dylan E. Campos, Kayla Izabella Campos, Juan Armando Campos all of Warsaw, and one great grandbaby on the way. He was preceded in passing by siblings: Velva May Martin, Bill David Collins, Rick Collins and Anita Gay Burchet; and son-in-law, Roberto Aguilar. A visitation is planned from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon on Monday November 22, 2021 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.  A funeral service in celebration of his life will begin at Noon in the funeral chapel with Chaplain Bob Jarboe officiating the services. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, Indiana. Masks are optional, and social distancing is encouraged. No food is permitted at this time.
