Lyle W. Shenefield

Lyle W. Shenefield, age 81. passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 6:15 AM in his Winona Lake, Indiana residence. He was born May 18, 1932 in Bremen, IN to Warren and Maree (Laudman) Shenefield. He was graduate of Bremen High School Class of 1950. He was united in marriage to Gloria Schneider on January 30, 1999 in Warsaw, IN. He was the former owner of Town and Country Ladies Apparel until 1975 and then was employed by DePuy, Inc. in Orthopedic Sales until his retirement in 2008. He was a member of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church of Warsaw and the Warsaw Rotary Club. Survivors include his wife Gloria Shenefield of Winona Lake, IN.; daughter Lisa Garrett and son Jay (spouse Jill) Shenefield both of McMinniville, OR; a brother Vere A. (spouse Ruth) Shenefield of Warsaw, IN; step-daughters Shelley Maish of Erie, Co, Carol (spouse Greg) Myers of Chicago, IL and Amy Sry of San Francisco, CA; step-sons Lex (spouse Tammy) Dalton of Warsaw, IN and Jay (spouse Jeannie) Maish of Littleton, CO; grandchildren Davin, Ryan and Gabriel; step-grandchildren Dru, Derek, Brandon, Andy, Luke, Ann Dee and Dalton. He was preceded by his wife Diane (Cox) Shenefield in 1998. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Friday, July 26, 2013 at 2:00 PM in St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, Warsaw. Visitation will be Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at St. Anne’s. Pastor Corinne Hodges will officiate the services. Interment will be in St. Anne’s Episcopal Church Columbarium.
