Lydia "Sue" Manns

Lydia “Sue” Manns, 66, passed away surrounded by the love of her family on Saturday September 19, 2026 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Lifetime Warsaw resident, Sue was born on March 28, 1960 to Floyd and Ann (Collins) Reffitt. She attended Tippecanoe Valley High School.

Sue found her soulmate, Dale Manns, and the two would wed in the Lighthouse Church in Warsaw on June 4, 1977. They were blessed with 49 years of love, trials, laughs and memories, and growing each other’s faith in God.

A devoted Christian and housewife, Sue was a talented cake decorator and gardener. She could make the prettiest flower arrangements and bouquets. Sue loved her nieces and nephews very much, calling them “Baby” when she was talking to them. She loved to talk and have good conversations with family and friends. Sue was a dog lover and the couple had three fur babies: Brittany, GiGi and Trixie.

She is deeply missed by her loving husband, Dale; her sister, Cathy (Kris) Raypholtz of Akron; nieces, April (Darin) Tudor of Warsaw and Trina (Robert) Springer of Warsaw; and great-nephew, Joey (fiancée Kennedy Church) Springer of Warsaw.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: William “Danny” Reffitt, Diann Beavers and infant brother Floyd Reffitt Jr.

Visitation will be held from 10-12 p.m. on Thursday September 24, 2026 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. Funeral services will begin at noon in the chapel with Pastor Terry Bradford officiating.

Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
