Lovina Ruth Jefferson

Lovina Ruth Jefferson, 77, of Syracuse, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Goshen Hospital, Goshen, Indiana. Born on January 18, 1945, in Cornell, Wisconsin, Lovina was the daughter of Orlando and Shirley (Pagenkopf) Newburry. She was united in marriage to Robert L. Jefferson on September 29, 1979, in Syracuse, Indiana who preceded her in death. Lovina enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, and playing cards with friends and family. Lovina will be lovingly remembered by her four daughters, Shirley (Patrick) Hyde, Jean (Jan) Hiatt, Juanita (Jessie) Geary, Traci (Allen) Knapp; one son Thomas Jefferson; twelve grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by husband Robert Jefferson, two sons Robert and Edward Roder, and three brothers. No services are scheduled at this time.
