Lonnie R. Orr

Lonnie R. Orr, 75, passed away with his family by his side Sunday morning, June 30, 2024.

Lonnie was born in Hagar Township, Michigan on December 4, 1948 to William and Nadine (Wallace) Orr.

In Fort Wayne, Indiana on September 11, 1967, Lonnie married Phyllis M. Coffelt.

He worked for LM&L in Columbia City as a truck driver and laborer until their closing. He then worked at the Fort Wayne Foundry until his retirement in 2010.

Lonnie was caring, loving, supportive and generous with his time and love. He truly treasured times with his daughters and great-grandsons. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing and making sure his yard was perfect.

He is missed by his daughters, Tammy Bradley and Desaray Rockey (Steven Warner), both of North Manchester; great-grandsons, Luke and Zaiden Warner; son, Lonnie Orr Jr.; and step-daughter, Vickie Beasley of Columbia City; and his siblings: Faye, Kurt, Billy, Barb and Diane.

He was preceded in death by his wife.

Private services will be held.
